Banks directed and produced “Cocaine Bear,” a comedic thriller about a drug-deranged critter that became an unexpected hit for Universal earlier this year, and produced Emma Seligman’s “Bottoms,” a queer high school romance that debuted at SXSW, under her Brownstone Prods. banner. She recently starred in “The Beanie Bubble,” an Apple TV+ movie about stuffed animal craze of the 1990s, and has a slew of other projects in the works.
