Galentine's Day | Archer Roose
Female Founded For The Win!
While there are many “made-up” holidays, our nearest and dearest has always been Galentine’s Day! Unfamiliar with Galentine’s Day? A quick visit to UrbanDictionary.com (where would we be without a crowd-sourced dictionary?) reads that “Galentine’s Day is the other half of valentine’s day, when you celebrate the love for your lady friends!”, otherwise made popular by the fantastic “Parks and Recreation”. We don’t have an extravagant scavenger hunt prepared but we would like to take a moment to reminisce on a few of our partnerships with fellow wonderful, woman-owned brands.
In celebration of kick-ass women, femmes, and fellow friends, we’re thinking back to quite possibly our *loudest* partnership with WMN/N/SND. A series of intimate concerts featuring emerging independent female artists, WMN/N/SND is a celebration of how women do indie and a community for support in an exceedingly tough industry. Archer Roose sponsored beverages (wine, of course) and had WMN/N/SND take over our Insta stories during one of their WMN/N/SND DJ nights. Good times, good wine, and without a doubt, the most excellent company. Head over to the Archer Roose WMN/N/SND story highlight to get the full experience!
If you follow our partner giveaways, this next female-founded brand should be familiar! Our friends over at Little Spoon are furiously passionate about fresh organic baby and little kid meals, and their fast delivery truly is the easiest way to keep kids healthy. We’ve been cheerleaders of the Little Spoon cause for a few years, but things got more personal this last year - our Founder became a mother for the first time! At Archer Roose we know a thing or two about what it’s like being a mom and we also know a lot about celebrating everyday wins. Together we’re happy to say that Little Spoon and Archer Roose have been making it easy to keep both mom and baby happy. Sounds like the perfect partnership, right?
However you celebrate Galentine’s Day this year (what we mean to say is, pandemic is a word we would be happy to never hear again), be loud in your appreciation of your crew! Cheers!
