Cooking with Archer Roose: Jambon Rosé Beurre Sandwich Featuring Rosé | Archer Roose
By: The Archer Roose Team
Have you ever experienced a happy moment from the past that’s been triggered by food? Maybe the smell of freshly baked apple pie wafting in the air reminds you of apple picking with family in the fall? Or perhaps every time you take a bite of a hotdog you go back to the joy of your first baseball game? Well, there’s a term for that and it’s called food nostalgia. It’s described as a sentimental reflection of a food experience or dish that we associate with a happy or meaningful time.
At some point or another, we can pretty much bet you opened your lunchbox as a child to find a ham and cheese sandwich. Deli sliced ham, American cheese and creamy mayo sandwiched between two soft slices of country white bread was one of the best things ever. Come on, what’s more classic that? Are we right? We can already feel the bustling energy of the school cafeteria just thinking about it.
Chef Adam, our friend and culinary expert, helped us with a reimagine the classic ham and cheese into a masterpiece–the Jambon Rosé Beurre Sandwich. Our rendition combines the soft creaminess of brie and the delicately sweet and salty nature of prosciutto. But what truly sets this specially crafted sandwich apart is the Archer Roose Rosé infused butter. Bursting with the fruit-forward notes of strawberry, raspberry, and apricot–this butter adds a complex flavor profile that your adult self will surely enjoy.
Reflect on some of your favorite moments–and hopefully make new ones–by trying our recipe and enjoying it with some Archer Roose Rosé.
