Born in 1969 in Montebelluna, just a few km from Montelvini, Stefano has always been passionate about wine - as most people are from this renowned Italian wine growing region. After graduating from the prestigious “Cerletti” Oenology Wine Institute in Conegliano, he immediately started his career in the wine business. After a few earlier jobs he settled at Montelvini, where he's been working for the last 30 years and is currently its Wine Director.

His passion and commitment towards Montelvini has made the winery what it is today. His expertise and tenure allows him to pioneer new trends for production, while honoring the deep historical roots of the vineyard itself.
